MADISON, WI – Bret Wagner, candidate for Madison Metropolitan School District Board of Education Seat 3, has received the endorsement of Fitchburg Mayor Julia Arata-Fratta. The endorsement highlights Wagner’s unique blend of engineering and education experience, as well as his commitment to representing all families in the district.

“Bret Wagner brings the right combination of analytical expertise and firsthand classroom experience to the Madison School Board. His dedication to data-driven decision-making and unwavering focus on student success make him an outstanding advocate for Madison and Fitchburg families,” said Arata-Fratta.

Wagner, current president of Cherokee Heights Middle School’s Parent-Faculty Organization (PFO), brings experience as both an engineer and former high school science teacher. His campaign focuses on supporting every student, trusting teachers as professionals, and using data to make smart choices for schools.

“Mayor Arata-Fratta’s support means a great deal to our campaign,” said Wagner. “As a significant portion of Fitchburg falls within MMSD boundaries, it’s crucial that Fitchburg families have a strong voice on the school board.
